Although an Ardmore woman is facing charges of distributing a particularly dangerous form of methamphetamine from her Harris Street residence, District Attorney Task Force agents say the case is far from over. Sherry Lynn Cooley, 37, was arrested April 6. Subsequently she was charged with unlawful possession of a controlled dangerous substance (methamphetamine) with intent to distribute and distribution of a controlled dangerous substance within 2,000 feet of a park. Cooley made an initial arraignment appearance in district court last week. She is currently free on bond, pending the preliminary hearing of the case. DATF agents said Cooley became the target of an investigation after they received information she was distributing methamphetamine. “And it wasn’t just any meth, it was the type known as ‘Ice,’” an agent said. “We conducted an undercover investigation. Controlled purchases were made from her at her residence, (1430 Harris Street). A search warrant was obtained and was served at the time of her arrest.” Also arrested was Christopher Ryan Graham. Graham has been charged with distribution of a controlled substance (methamphetamine) within 2,000 feet of a park. Agents described the case Thursday as “still under investigation.” Source : ardmoreite.com |
