Boy convicted of drug possession

A young boy from St. Paul was recently found to be guilty of a drug-related offence. The boy appeared Monday before the District “A” Magistrates Court located at the Sir Lee Llewellyn Moore Judicial and Legal Services Complex, Basseterre, on a charge of possession of a controlled drug which was committed on 8 Feb. Upon conviction, he was ordered to attend a course at the Youth and Community Affairs Department and also to attend a workshop at the Basseterre High School between 20 and 23 Aug., to be held by the said department. The youth is also to maintain a 4 p.m. to 6 a.m. curfew at his mother’s home located at Tabernacle and is not to be seen in the company of “undesirables”. More : sunstkitts.com |
